Hi, I’m Amber.
I believe people thrive when they are seen, understood, developed, and held accountable with compassion.
I’m Amber McCabe, MSL, MSN, RN—a nurse, leader, educator, and author with more than 15 years of experience in healthcare.
Leadership, Learned By Doing.
I didn’t develop my approach to leadership in a boardroom. I developed it while leading real people through real challenges.
As a nurse and healthcare leader, I learned that the best outcomes rarely come from policies, pressure, or telling people what to do. They come from understanding people, developing them, setting clear expectations with accountability, and creating systems that help them succeed.
Over time, I saw stronger people, stronger teams, and an organization achieving outcomes that once seemed out of reach.
Those experiences shaped my approach to leadership—one centered on understanding people, developing their potential, and creating the conditions for them to thrive.
What I’m Building Now
Thrive grew from a simple belief: when we create the right conditions for people to succeed, better outcomes follow.
Today, I’m taking what I learned in healthcare leadership and turning it into practical tools, resources, and conversations for leaders who want to develop people, strengthen teams, and build organizations where both people and results can thrive.
Because better leadership doesn’t start with a title. It starts with how we lead people.
